Working principle of IG541 gas fire extinguishing system
This system has three starting modes: automatic start mode, manual
start mode and mechanical emergency operation start mode.
Automatic start mode
The gas fire extinguishing alarm control system is generally
equipped with two different types of fire detectors. There are
"automatic" and "manual" manual conversion switches on the control
host (the conversion switch can also be separated from the host and
set outside the protection zone). When it is placed in the
"automatic" position, the fire extinguishing system is in automatic
state.
When only one detector sends a fire signal, the control host starts
the alarm or sound and light alarm to notify the fire, but does not
start the fire extinguishing system.
When two detectors send a fire signal, the control host starts the
alarm and sound and light alarm, closes the opening of the
protection zone, enters the fire extinguishing start delay, and
automatically starts the fire extinguishing system after the set
delay time is reached.
If it is found that the fire extinguishing system does not need to
be started during the spraying delay process, the "emergency stop"
button outside the protection zone or on the controller can be
pressed to terminate the fire extinguishing command.
Manual start mode
When the switch is in the "manual" position, the fire extinguishing
device is in manual state.
In this state, the detector sends a fire signal, and the control
host starts the alarm and sound and light alarm to notify the fire,
but does not start the fire extinguishing system. At this time,
press the "manual start" or "emergency start" button outside the
protection zone or on the controller to start the fire
extinguishing system.
Note: Whether the controller is in automatic or manual state,
pressing the "emergency start" and "manual start" buttons can start
the fire extinguishing system.
Mechanical emergency operation start mode
When both automatic and manual starts fail, mechanical emergency
operations can be implemented according to the following steps:
1) Manually close the linkage equipment and cut off the power
supply;
2) Pull out the "mechanical emergency start safety pin" on the
electromagnetic driver of the start bottle of the corresponding
protection zone, press the mechanical emergency start button, and
the electromagnetic driver opens the start bottle to release the
start gas and start the fire extinguishing system.
